Description
Test Lab: Batch 496
The Technical Details
This product features an experimental finishing technique. Our goal was to push the limits of the durability of the fiber surface to create a cleaner, more resistant finish.
The Result
While the process successfully increased the fabric’s structural integrity, it altered the final “hand feel” of the wool. You will notice a slightly more rugged, textured feel than our traditional superfine jersey. It lacks our signature “buttery” softness, feeling more like a classic, heartier wool.
Test Lab Disclaimer
The Feel:“Heartier” and textured (not as soft as our standard 17.5-micron line).
The Look:Subtle tracking lines may be visible on the garment.
The Care:You may notice slight fabric puckering after the initial wash as the fibers relax. This stabilizes after 2–3 launderings.
Because this technique is still in the experimental phase, we have not launched it as part of our permanent collection. We invite you to put this experiment to the test and report back on how it performs in the wild.
